Our Work in USA

Innovative Leadership works across the USA, having undertaken community and regional work in some 30 States, particularly across the Pacific Northwest, Midwest USA and North-East regions. The focus of our work in the USA includes:

  • Community and regional future planning – Innovative Leadership has completed nearly 100 major community visioning events and numerous major regional scenario workshops. This work has particularly been focused in the Pacific Northwest and Midwest regions.
  • Local economic development – we have worked on regional and local economic building initiatives across the Midwest, Pacific Northwest and New England regions. This has included key roles in ground-breaking projects such as the Community Progress Initiative in Wisconsin, The community Transformation Council in Newton Iowa, and the eight-state Horizons Program funded by the Northwest Area Foundation

"David is a great people person. He connects with people as he challenges them to think differently. David helped RLND participants look at situations from a different perspective. David's passion for community and leadership development comes out…..and he really "gets it" when it comes to connecting with people about making things happen."

Marie Hvidsten, Program Director
